ALTERNATIVE CHRISTMAS is our special event on Christmas Day for those who may not have anywhere to go or wish to spend time with other like-minded folk.

This year is extra, extra special because not only have The Loom very generously offered to help by using their venue, but their partner, Zumuku, have also offered to cook everyone a VERY ALTERNATIVE Christmas Dinner.

They will serve Katsu Curry (or chicken and rice for those who don't like curry dishes) and we'll also have some homemade cheese and onion pie for veggies!

Every year, we like to give everyone a gift in the 'Rigged Raffle' so if you can donate anything, please do.

We will also be supporting one another with Casual Minds Matter to bring greater awareness to loneliness which can cause mental health issues.

The doors will open at 10.30 a.m. and food will be served around 12 p.m. (noon). 

If anyone would like to go to The Shift Café for karaoke afterwards, then we normally head there around 3 p.m.

If you are struggling for money you do not need to worry: ALL THE FOOD IS FREE (however donations will be welcome). 

Although the bar will be open, you are welcome to bring your own beer!

Please don't feel in any way anxious, self-conscious, or anything like that, because we will all be there enjoying time with each other. We love new company and love meeting new faces!
